This is a Guide on How to Make A HD Loader DVD

I created an ISO DVD for myself and here are the steps i did, it worked with my PS2 and hopefully for others too.

UPDATE:

1] You can use any HDLoader version on this guide just rename it in this format [SCUS_XXX.XX]
the XXXXX could be 11978 or 12345 or any

2] You can also use this guide to make LaunchELF DVD or any ELF

3] This tutorial could also be used to rebuild ISO

Copying game save from PC to PS2 using uLaunchELF

This is a tutorial on how to copy game saves to your PS2 memory card using uLaunchELF (required for games like GTA)

What you need:
- PS2 Save Builder (http://www.ps2savetools.com/download.php?op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=74)
- Game saves (I get mine from http://www.gamefaqs.com/)
- uLaunchELF (http://www.sksapps.com/index.php?page=launchers.html)

Download Winhiip 1.7.6
First you need to connect the PS2’s HDD to your PCWinVista users:

Right click on the winhiip icon and go to properties Click on Compability Tab Put a mark in the box (run this program in compability mode for.) Select windows Xp service pack 2 Also modify privilege level and check the box (Run This program as an Adminstrator) Click apply and there you go ready and set to run winhiip on winvista

FireWire issues: results have been mixed, so this is inconclusive atm

Problem: Winhiip won’t format the hdd correctly/at all. Solution: It’s the firewire cable (1394 to you windows users), firewire is not compatible with winhiip (it formats faster though, 250GB in less than 5 seconds). Used a USB cable (formats waaaay slower… 30 seconds++) but it works. Now dumping the games (it looks like dumping the game with firewire connection won’t work either, use USB).
